Fall is officially wedding season.
According to the Brides 2018 American Wedding Study, summer weddings been on a steady decline! Fall weddings, on the other hand, are becoming more and more popular. And we can see why! Some of my favorite shoots have been fall weddings. There is just something warm about them.
2. THESE TABLESCAPES.
One reason I’m loving fall weddings is the gorgeous themed tablescapes that go along with them. Especially at outdoor weddings, decorators and moms alike are getting creative with table decorations and set-up. I am loving the natural trends. And dpn’t even get me started on the tablescapes I have seen in the works at Jane Rae Events in Sioux Falls! Looking for some inspo? > janeraeevents.com
3. Themed bars and unique mixology.
I love a good reception drink as much as the next person, but lately I have been seeing some bars and mixologists that take it to the next level! Why not opt for a personalized drink menu featuring some seasonal cocktails or personal favorites?
4. Unique wedding cakes that are all YOU.
Wedding cakes can be an awesome way for a bride and groom to express themselves. You don’t have to go for the basic wedding cake if that is not for you! I have seen cake designers do so many things with cakes; the options are endless. And if you’re here in the 605 area, talk to my friend The Cake Lady. Tell her Savannah sent you 😉 > thecakeladysf.com
5. Moments with the bridal party.
I love capturing moments between the bridal party throughout the day. Spending your big day with the most important people in your life is truly a beautiful thing! Instead of going for the cookie-cutter bridal party photos, why not make it personal and special? Those real moments are something you will cherish for years to come.
I hope I am there to capture all the special things you incorporate in your wedding! Book us here.
