To sum it up, Natalie + Keith had THE MOST fun on their wedding. I loved the balance between passion+play for these two.
We started off at a cute little Air B&B in the middle of nowhere, with goats in the backyard, and flea ridden kittens on the porch steps. The girls were popping mimosas and sporting cute matching robes when we got there, and I just knew it was going to be great.
One of the intimate moments I remembered, was when Natalie was getting into her dress, and her mom & mom in-law were helping her.
Her grandmothers earrings were her something ‘borrowed’ and her cute shoes, her something blue. They were admiring her engagement ring, and how unique it was. Asking about her wedding band, she noted that for every child they have, she will add another ring to her band.
It was full sun out, but we worked it anyway as I went on to do the first look + couple portraits. These two were FIRE with posing.
As the ceremony grew closer everyone was anxious until the first kiss!
Rice was thrown, pictures were taken…and on to the fun.
What happened in the Party Bus stays in the party bus, but let me assure you..between the homemade liquor from her grandparents, and their favorite Bar Spot in Yankton, a lot of fun was had.
Another sweet moment of their wedding, was that Keith led Natalie to believe they were playing ‘Queen of my Double Wide’ for their first dance, as that was his biggest request. But last second the DJ started playing ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’ for their first dance, the song she wanted all along.
The day was beautiful and exciting, but the TRUE highlight of the evening, was when the Bridal Party auctioned off Keith and his father-in law’s PONYTAILS. The winner got to cut his hair off. And for $1,000 bucks, his Best Man was able to do the deed.
